Annual Conference

The Nutrition Research Institute sponsors conferences that attract research scientists from around the world. These experts come to Kannapolis to share their research and discoveries and to gain insights from colleagues. The 2008 Genetic, Epigenetics, Diet, and Behavior Conference brought together brain and cancer experts from the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom to discuss how nutrients can turn genes-including cancer genes-on and off. The NRI plans to continue these conferences as the Institute grows.
