NOTE: This position is located in Kannapolis, NC (2 hours from Chapel Hill).

Postdoctoral research associate needed to assist at a highly independent level with human nutrition research. Candidate will participate in the planning and conduct of clinical studies, helping with participant recruitment, assessments, clinical investigations, data management, interpretation of results, and writing reports. Candidate will be expected to learn the full range of instruments (including DEXA, BodPod, Biodex dynamometer, FibroScan, whole room indirect calorimeter), and procedures used for studies.

Ability to design and conduct human research, knowledge of human physiology, metabolism and responses to nutrition, ability to compose error-free English-language documents typical in the course of conducting human studies (such as IRB applications, descriptions, grant applications, reports and manuscripts for publication). Doctorate in Nutrition, Biochemistry, Human Biology, Medicine or comparable disciplines required. Ability to lead and assist test subjects during exercise challenges also required.
